Basically, what kind of action steps are needed for you to die to

old,un-resourceful ways of being

And what new daily rituals will help you construct a new life, and

a newyou?

One of our friends chose to share his story about losing 110 pounds, then

getting married, having children, and gaining all of the weight back.



Not only does he feel defeated by the weight gain, he also has the new

challenge of losing it (again) only this time with the burden of family,

career and other big-boy responsibilities.

He is committed to fulfilling ALL of his personalobligations, and reaching ALL

of hispersonal goals.



He wants to have it all; and I think he will get it.

But.

Having it allrequires a different approach than most wide-eyed

goal seekersare ready to accept.



Living in our microwave, fast-food, drive-by-shooting culture has most of us

believing that we can get healthy fitnessresults by blasting a magic bullet out

the passengerwindow of a creepingImpala.

Sheet dont work that way son.

Like with all good things good fitness gains come with TIME.

This reminds me of an old saying

Whats the best way to eat an Elephant? One bite at a time.

Unlike the magic protein shakes and pre-workout drinks that many IG peeps

promote in their social media

Elephant sizedresults, requires a long term approach. You can only eat it

one bite at attime.

And unlike the bubble-gum-strawberry-mago-licious bulldo-doflavors that

shakes and drinks come in

I imagine thatElephant meat is dense, chewy, and probably not very

delicious.

Elephant-eating is a long term methodical approach which requires

devotion,discipline, and the willingness to do the same-old boring

thing every freakin day.



So, weve got to be honest with ourselves.

What taskcan we respectfully commit to every-day that will take us to the

top of the mountain, step-by-step?



You can try to eat the whole thing in one sitting, but chances are that youll

get sick, throw up and quit.

One bite at a time big boy. Lets get it!
